Primorsko has two long beaches: the North beach which can get a bit too busy and the South beach gets very quiet as you get towards Kitten. The northern beach is 200 meters from the city center. 

From the North Beach along the coast, you can reach Perla Beach. The area around the beach is wooded and very beautiful. The resort boasts the longest and most beautiful beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. 

The south beach is a very beautiful place – full of romance and beauty. It is located in the southeastern part of the city. There is a renovated cable-stayed bridge over the Devil’s River which is the most direct way to the beach.

Golden Sands is the largest resort on the Northern Black Sea coast and a major seaside resort town on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located just 17 km north of downtown Varna.

At Golden Sands Beach, you’ll find the purest sand on the Black Sea coast, making it very attractive to visitors from Germany, the United Kingdom, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia, France, Central and Eastern Europe, the Persian Gulf, Israel, and other countries.

Here you’ll also find the Golden Sands Nature Park which is spread on an area of 13.2 square kilometers and was declared a protected territory in 1943. Golden Sands Beach connects with the Riviera resort and St. St. Konstantin and Elena Resort.

With the Golden Sands Nature Park being so close, the lush woodlands cascading and Hot mineral water springs from the Franga Plateau, are making Golden Sands Beach one of the most popular tourist spots in Eastern Europe.

Albena Beach is situated just 12 km from Balchik and 30 km from Varna and it is a major Black Sea resort in northeastern Bulgaria. The beach is located in a preserved area and is 5 km long.

Albena resort was opened in 1967 and it was purposely built resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. At the end of Albena Beach is located a nudist part of the beach.

Albena resort is a preferred destination for holiday travel and water sport and attracts with its clean sand and ultimate destination to enjoy sunrise and sunset on the beach.

This romantic and beautiful beach is located 5 kilometers south of Sozopol within the camp of the same name. It is ideal for campers and young people eager for adventure and a good time.

The place is known for its crystal clear sea and fine yellow sand, but also for its big waves. The beach also has a separate section for nudists. There is also a bar on the beach.

Atliman beach is located on the southern Black Sea coast, just 1 km in the northern part of Kiten and it attracts tourists with golden and soft sand, and its calm and clean sea water. It is located near Devil’s bay, to the southeast of the bay is a wooded peninsula, where holiday homes and campsites are built.

The new name of the Atliman is Konnik /Horseman/. The town of Kiten is one of the greenest resorts in Bulgaria, nestled between two picturesque bays Karaagach and Konnik.

Driver’s Beach is one of the most famous and attractive wild beaches on the South Black Sea coast. It is easy to access, just 37 km away from Bourgas. It is a great place for those who want quiet peace on the beach. The beach is close to the Alepu Swamp natural landmark and is also popularly known as Alepu Beach.

The driver’s beach or also called Alepu Beach is a sandy strip of shore, south of Duni resort. It has a wonderful view and is located between the resort of Duni (from the north) and Cape Humata. The dunes along the beach are home to rare sand plants and have been declared a natural landmark.

Cacao Beach in Sunny Beach

Sunny Beach is one fo the largest resorts in Bulgaria, just a kilometer from Nessebar. Sunny Beach is sometimes called the summer party capital. There are more than 200 hotels and thousands of clubs, bars and pubs. One of the most famous party places is Cacao Beach with guest DJs all over the world. The beach strip of Sunny Beach is more than 8 km long and about 50 meters wide.

The Mouth Beach, near Sinemorets

Sinemorets is a small but gorgeous seaside resort in the very southeastern part of Bulgaria. It lies at the mouth of the Veleka river, just around 15 km from the Turkish border.

Sinemorets Veleka Beach is actually two beaches – the Bytamyata Beach and the beach at the mouth of Veleka River.

Veleka Beach is located south of Sozopol, where the Veleka River flows into the sea and it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bulgaria. It is situated in an isolated place, extremely beautiful and calm beach. Tourists can swim in the sea as well as in the colder waters of the river.

Situated in Strandzha Nature Park, Sinemorets Veleka Beach assists in its range of flora and fauna. There are two lifeguarded beaches, located to the north and to the south of the village Veleka Beach and Butamya Beach.

Irakli Beach

Irakli Beach has located about 4 km from the nearby village of Banya and just 3 km near Cape Emine, on Southern Black Sea Coast, south of the town of Obzor. It is situated between Black Sea towns and resorts of Obzor (north) and Nessebur (south).

This is an incredible place to enjoy the beauty of wildlife and wild nature with the sea coast. The beach is with a length of about 3.5 km and offers one of the cleanest sandy beaches.

You can get to the beach by car, taxi or bicycle and its remoteness makes it a desired place for anyone who prefers a quiet and relaxing place. Just a few meters from the sea is a suitable area for bungalows and tents. The beach is formed where the Vaya River flows into the sea.
